What is the difference between Face Cream and Face Serum? Can they be used together?

Dear Customer, Le Chioccioline's snail slime-based face serum and Le Chioccioline's repairing face cream are complementary products and both essential for complete daily skincare. the serum is richer in percentage of active ingredient (our serum contains 98% from snail slime) and has a very fluid consistency (it is usually liquid or, as in our case, in gel). Thanks to its particular consistency, the serum penetrates deeply into the skin and stimulates the cells found in the deeper layers of the epidermis. The cream, on the other hand, being an emulsion, adds that hydrating and elasticizing capacity that the serum lacks. It is always advisable to apply the serum first and the face cream after in order to optimize the effectiveness of the active ingredient. For any other doubts, our customer service is at your complete disposal, do not hesitate to contact us.

Is the Repairing Face Cream indicated as anti-aging during menopause?

The formulation of the Chioccioline repairing face cream is suitable for use during menopause; in this delicate moment of life the skin loses firmness, dehydrates more easily and tends to be duller. Thanks to the mucopolysaccharides and vitamins present in large quantities in snail slime, this cream guarantees perfect and long-lasting hydration.

Is the Snail Face Serum also suitable for oily skin? Is it light on the skin?

Yes! Our Face Serum is ideal for oily skin as the snail slime produces a sebum-regulating effect and its gel texture promotes absorption, making the skin hydrated without being greasy.

I have very sensitive skin that is easily prone to redness, can I use “Pure” 100% snail slime?

Absolutely yes! The “Pura” promotes perfect hydration of the skin by purifying it; furthermore it is very delicate and also recommended for sensitive skin.

Is the Cioccioline Eye Contour more suitable for bags under the eyes or fine lines?

The eye contour of Chioccioline, thanks to its formulation which includes the presence of red vine, promotes micro-circulation, counteracting the "bags under the eyes" effect, while the snail slime acts effectively on small expression lines around the eyes.

Is the Anti-Stretch Mark Body Cream effective against the blemishes caused by stretch marks?

With constant use of the Anti-Stretch Mark Moisturizing Body Cream you will notice a reduction in red and pink stretch marks and a reduction in the thickness of scarring. The skin will be softer and hydrated.

Does the Anti-Cellulite Cream reduce the orange peel effect?

Thanks to its formulation with active ingredients such as snail slime, caffeine, jojoba oil, aloe vera, hops, menthol and vitamins, the Chioccioline Anti-Cellulite Cream gives the skin elasticity and firmness, counteracting the formation of the hated "orange peel". It absorbs quickly, not greasy.

Double cleansing: how does it work? which products and which benefits?

Double cleansing is a cleansing deep but at the same time delicate.
The first step of double cleansing consists in using the lipid-based facial make-up removing balm, which works by “affinity” removing excess sebum, impurities, smog, make-up.
The second step is to use a product that works for “contrast”, the Le Chioccioline facial cleansing mousse which will remove any residue from the first phase.
